Dear Valued Customer,
We hope this message finds you well. We are reaching out with both heartfelt sentiment and exciting news regarding the continued care of your wildlife control needs.
Buckeye Valley Wild Animal Control (BVWAC), formerly Tom Moore’s Trapping, has officially joined the Zuckerman’s Pest Management family. This acquisition is more than just a business transition—it is a continuation of a deeply rooted legacy in the local wildlife management community.
A History of Trusted Partnerships
Many of you may remember Tom & Mary Moore, founders of Tom Moore’s Trapping. Over the years, Zuckerman’s Pest Management consistently referred all our wildlife trapping and humane euthanasia services to the Moore's.
Upon their retirement in the summer of 2023, Tom & Mary passed the torch to one of their most trusted employees, Bill Goudy, and his wife Jamie Goudy, forming what many of you came to know and trust as Buckeye Valley Wild Animal Control. We continued this trusted partnership with the Goudy's, maintaining the same standards and legacy of excellence, knowing their care, precision, and dedication were unmatched.
A Bittersweet Transition
Over the past year, Bill devoted his time and energy to caring for Jamie during her illness. With profound sadness, we share that Jamie Goudy passed away in December 2024. Following this loss, Bill made the understandable and admirable decision to step away from wildlife services to focus on his daughter and healing.
This week Heschel & Jerika Zuckerman met with Bill to finalize a heartfelt and strategic plan to carry forward the mission, care, and legacy built over decades by the Moore and Goudy families.
What This Means for You
A New Chapter – Enhanced Services
As the proud new owners of Buckeye Valley Wild Animal Control, Zuckerman’s Pest Management now offers FULL-SERVICE WILDLIFE TRAPPING + EXCLUSION SOLUTIONS — an upgrade from previous offerings and a major value-add for our customers.
Exclusion Services – A Permanent Solution
While trapping removes wildlife temporarily, exclusion is the long-term solution.
Unlike the previous companies, Zuckerman’s now offers expert wildlife exclusion services — a proactive and preventive approach that goes beyond removal to secure your home or business permanently against future invasions.
What Is Exclusion?
Exclusion involves identifying and sealing the access points that wildlife use to enter structures — keeping them out for good. It's strategic, humane, and highly effective in reducing repeat wildlife issues.
Exclusion Techniques Include:
-
Sealing gaps in soffits, roof returns, fascia boards, and attic vents
-
Installing steel or reinforced chimney caps
-
Creating one-way doors for humane removal and prevention
-
Securing crawl space vents, foundation openings, and under-porch entryways
-
Custom-fit screening over gable vents, roof junctions, or construction voids
-
Habitat modification to deter nesting and denning around your structure
Animals Commonly Prevented with Exclusion:
-
Raccoons, squirrels, and bats nesting in attics
-
Skunks, groundhogs, and opossums denning under sheds and porches
-
Birds, rodents, and snakes entering gaps in walls or foundations
Why This Matters
Temporary trapping helps in the short term. But wildlife often returns — or new animals take their place — unless exclusion is performed.
Our professional exclusion services provide long-term security, reduce the need for repeat service calls, and protect your home or business from structural damage, health risks, and distress caused by invasive wildlife.
This is not just pest control. It’s property protection, peace of mind, and a legacy of care — enhanced and continued.
Honoring Jamie’s Legacy
We move forward with deep gratitude to the Moore and Goudy families, and in memory of Jamie Goudy, whose warmth and commitment touched many lives. Her legacy continues through every call we answer and every home we protect.
Thank you for trusting Buckeye Valley Wild Animal Control through the years. We are honored to walk forward with you under the Zuckerman’s Pest Management name, delivering expanded services while preserving the heart of what made BVWAC special.
Warmly,
Jerika & Heschel Zuckerman
